Last week we had a fun night at our Tallinn Studio Store! In collaboration with the Estonian online fashion and lifestyle magazine Portail, we hosted one last shopping evening before the Summer hiatus.
The highlight of the evening was make-up artist Gerda Miller. She showcased her favourite and easiest make-up tricks for those hot Summer parties.
Thanks to everyone who joined us that night and see you in September!
I hope you´ve heard already that all our pieces are made in our studio in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. One of the newest limited edition additions to our collections is the Kimono Gown. It´s one of my favourite pieces in the whole collection. For a long time I dreamt of using the most common dressing gown waffle fabric and transform it into a chic and fresh robe. And the result does make me happy.
It´s perfect as a dressing gown at home but it´s equally great as a Spring coat (tested it on my recent trip to New York).
But how is it actually made? Check the video below and come behind the scenes to our studio.
Summer is just around the corner, so it´s the perfect time to start updating our wardrobes. The one colour that´s always on trend for the warm weather is Bright Pink. The colour is already everywhere from London catwalks to the streets of Paris, so we decided to give it a try as well.
We styled our Glossy jersey Bright Pink pieces into everyday outfits. We decided to colour clash the Sian T-shirt with a red jacket and tone down the Krista Suspender Top with denim. Here´s what we cooked up.
In March I had the pleasure of visiting two new places in Asia – Hong Kong & Singpore. I´ve wanted to fly to these places for such a long time, so was really excited to finally be able to do it. Luckily it was a mix of work and pleasure and I managed to look around a bit and do the touristy stuff in both places.
Here are my favourite moments all mixed together.
Last year around the same time a new shoe brand popped up in Estonia. It was called Toku. I was intrigued as there are not many shoe brands made in Estonia. Their style was minimal, Nordic which I really liked. So I decided to contact them.
A year later I am proud to present you our first pair of sandals! Made with soft leather and ergonomic insoles these sandals are super comfy. We added our KS initials to the insole, a bit of bling and of course a Marabou puff, and now the glam result is a must for the Summer ahead.
Here’a a look at how the first Kriss Soonik x Toku sandals were born.
Yesterday we opened a pop-up shop at La Foret Harajuku – one of Tokyo´s coolest department stores. This is not our first pop-up at La Foret but this time we are just by the grand entrance. It can´t get any better than that!
The space was completely empty, so we had to create a Kriss Soonik world in a few hours.
The result is really beautiful! It´s elegant and cute. You can find our latest SS18 collection (some styles are already sold out!) here until Thursday 22nd March!
