Tallinn Showroom Opening Party

Kriss Soonik Showroom

Yesterday we opened our first showroom in Tallinn. We had an amazing party with all our friends around us.

Morning didn’t start very promising – on the 26th October Estonia got its first snow! It was a real winter wonderland but luckily that doesn’t stop Estonians from having a really good time.

Sexy basketball boys served ice cold Moët & Chandon champagne. Cafe Ristikheina provided the tastiest and most beautiful cakes and canapes adorned with our cat logo and tiny black hearts. Our gorgeous DJ Laura Prits got us all dancing like there’s no tomorrow.

But I couldn’t have pulled it all off without the one and only Janne at Stiilikanal. She is the angel in events organisation heaven! Thank you!

Here’s a gallery from the very special evening. All pics by Kalev Lilleorg.
Thank you everyone who came and made it so memorable!

The showroom is now open at Paavli 5, Hoone 2. The entrance is from the courtyard.
I’ll be here every day 12-18.00 until Wednesday 1st November (except Sunday). After that it’s by appointment only.

Caribbean Dreaming Pop-Up

Kriss Soonik

It was my 8th time in Tokyo but this time was extra special – I was finally there during the peak cherry blossoming. And I must say nothing really compares to these fluffy white and pink petals. Apparently Sakura season is bigger than Christmas in Japan. And now I know what the hype is about!

The main reason for my visit to Tokyo this time was our pop-up at Omotesando Hills Rocket at the heart of Tokyo’s most prestigious shopping street Omotesando. This is the legendary street where Gucci, Chanel, Loewe et al. have their flagships.

We had a fabulous opening party. Was so great seeing all my Japanese friends (thank you for my beautiful flowers and gifts!) and also meeting so many new faces. The pop-up’s theme was “Caribbean Dreaming” after our SS17 campaign. Guests were posing with our campaign stars dolphin and flamingo while sipping Litchi Blue cocktails. We had loads of fun as you can see from the gallery below.

Until next time Tokyo!

Love The Now

Last week Embassy of Champagne hosted a very bubbly photoshoot in one of the most luxurious hotels in Tallinn – Hotel Telegraaf. Their most elegant VIP suite became a photostudio for Moët & Chandon’s Love The Now campaign. And of course we´re really excited that our creations got featured in this gorgeous shoot. Here are some of our favourites from the campaign shot by photographer Kirill Gvozdev.

3 days in Paris

It was the fourth time showing our collections at the number 1 lingerie trade show in the world – Salon International de la Lingerie. For the AW17 season we were chosen to show in the brand new area – Uncover. The space was light and airy, had a very relaxed vibe, a great soundtrack, and a glass of champagne in the evenings sure made the three days very enjoyable. Trade shows can be hard but the organisers Matthieu and Daniela treated us really well.

Meanwhile on the other side of freezing cold Paris, the iconic department store Galeries Lafayette opened a Valentine’s pop-up featuring a hand-picked selection from our collection. If that wasn’t fantastic enough news, when we visited the store, we found the mannequin wearing our Susan Glitter Gown! The pop-up will stay open until the 15th February, so if you’re in town, go check it out.

TFW Behind the Scenes

Last week the Tallinn Fashion Week catwalk become a party scene for our gorgeous lingerie-clad girls. The show was the biggest we´ve ever organised. It took months to prepare all the 40 outfits, get the concept and models together.

But what went on behind the scenes hours before the show? Here´s a little sneak peek into all the pre-show excitement.

It’s showtime!

In a few days we will be putting on another fashion show – this time we’re back in Estonia celebrating Tallinn Fashion Week 10th anniversary.

The show preparations always start about a month ahead. From figuring out the concept to casting, from styling to music, it’s a long process with many layers and many unexpected moments. But the minute the first girl goes out on the catwalk, all the nerves are gone and we all remember why we love to do it so much.

To get everyone else in the mood as well, here’s what goes into setting it all up.

Concept: This time around it was easy! We decided to theme the show after our AW16 campaign “The Morning After”, which follows the adventures of a birthday girl on the next day after the big party

Set & props : We love to go for that extra mile and make sure the concept really comes through to the public. That often involves building a set, using props, video projection and really thinking through the music selection. This Saturday’s production will be our most ambitious yet…

Models: Besides being drop dead gorgeous Kriss Soonik girls are strong, powerful and full of mischief.

Styling: No doubt the lingerie and loungewear pieces are the true stars of the show. This saturday we’ll be showcasing the highlights from AW16 and SS17 collections mixed with special show pieces. You can expect sparkle & glitter and of course our signature details.

Last week vol. 1: Tokyo Pop-Up

The first time I visited Tokyo, the La Foret department store became my favourite shopping destination. I guess the best word to describe it is “kawaii” (cute) but you can always find some cool designs there that you can also wear outside the craziness of Japan.

So who would have thought that 4 years later we´d be opening our very own store there? Below we´ve put together a gallery of the opening party. Thank you to everyone who came to support us!

The pop-up will be open until the 31st March on floor 2. Go check it out when in Tokyo!
