LAYER UP

Kristel Top is great for layering. Let the turtleneck and suspenders do the talking while they peep out from underneath a jumper. It’s a great transitional piece to wear and take from your Winter wardrobe straight into Spring.

WEAR TO WORK

Kristel also helps you look polished at the office. Tuck the suspenders in to wear the top as a classic turtleneck with a pencil skirt. If you’re feeling more adventurous let the suspenders show and add a pair of smart trousers to keep it classy.

3 Ways to Wear. Laura Disco Trousers.

Fashionable crop tops are the best way to really show off the cool cut-out details on the sides.

But if you feel that the cut-outs are too “out there” for a street look, then you can always layer them with some fringing or lace. This way you can still see the details but in a more concealed way. It will definitely add a bit of mystery to the look.

Susan Lace Body in nude is ideal for these special occasions – may it be a night out or even a wedding. Long floaty skirt and a fitted jacket pull this look together but still allow the focus to be on the stunning French Lace. Finish the outfit off with a statement clutch and hard to miss jewellery.

Nude + Orange

A long time ago when I designed our SS15 collection I knew there comes a day when we’d have a nice tan and we’d love to wear something to show it off. That’s how the Nude+Orange range was born into the collection. The subtle nude colour complements the skin while touch of orange adds a warm glow. Continuing with the underwear as outerwear theme the stand-out piece of the line is definitely the Polina Top which can be worn as a babydoll or as a summer blouse. Don’t forget to check out the How to Wear story we did on Polina.

Polina Top is a classic, which we have recently re-launched due to the popular demand. This time it comes in gorgeous nude & orange French lace to make it a must have for summer. Here are some outfit ideas from our stylist. No doubt we all be rocking Polina this summer!

For a cute summer office outfit pair Polina with a skirt and flats. Keep the belt tight to emphasize the waist. Finish the look off with gold jewellery to compliment the nude & orange colour combination of the top. Switch the flats for heels to make it a day to night look.

Meet Sakura

I met Sakura on my last trip to Japan. She works as a PR at PR01 agency representing the coolest fashion brands, including Cannabis boutique were Kriss Soonik collections are stocked and where we had our last Tokyo event. Sakura is one of the most stylish girls I have met. She has a very strong personal style and knows how to mix our designs into her outfits. We had a chat with her about Tokyo and her style, here´s what she told us…

What are your top 3 favourite places in Tokyo?
Harajuku, Shibuya & Ginza!
Harajuku – area where new fashion & culture trends are born, a very hip part of town.
Shibuya – area of Tokyo, where fashion, culture & music emerge and mix. It’s super crazy but fun!
Ginza – more traditional neighbourhood.

What’s one thing everyone needs to do when visiting Tokyo?
Make sure to visit some traditional buildings, see the beautiful landscape and have dinner at a nice Japanese restaurant. I’d also recommend to visit the Harajuku area in order to experience the Japanese fashion & culture. I think that young people in Harajuku represent really well contemporary Japanese fashion & culture.

Desktop202

Tell us a little bit about your personal style.
I wear clothes that fit my lifestyle and the occasion. When I go to the beach, I like to wear a cover up over a bikini with Vans sneakers. On a night out I usually put on a dress with a biker jacket. And on a lazy weekend to a brunch with my girlfriends I’d dress up my casual outfit with a Kriss Soonik Susan Lace Top.

What are your favourite fashion brands?
If I had to name one it would be Prada.

What do you think why Japanese women like Kriss Soonik?
I think that every Japanese woman wants to be strong yet elegant and Kriss Soonik products have both of those qualities.

Desktop204

What´s your personal favorite piece from the collections and why? How do you wear it?
Kristel Turtleneck Suspender Top as it was my first ever Kriss Soonik piece. It’s stylish and has a bit of a sexy edge. I love that you can wear as a regular top, with the suspenders showing. I keep the styling simple and pair it with skinny jeans. It truly is a special piece of clothing.
