How I became a photographer for a day

This week we opened a pop-up at Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo. We are honoured to also have an art frame installed with our latest collection “Rebel Heart”.

To celebrate the launch of the pop-up we hosted a live photoshoot. And I became the photographer.

My experience taking photos is not vast. I usually take them with my phone in a hurry. But this time I took my proper camera and put all the knowledge that I have gathered from the fantastic photographers I´ve worked with over the years. And I must admit, I sure had fun! Especially as we managed to find an Estonian model Anett in Tokyo for the shoot.

If you´re in Tokyo, go check out the pop-up before the 14th November!

Tokyo Visual Diary. Part 2

During the second week of my visit to Japan, we opened a pop-up shop in Isetan Shinjuku lingerie department. It will stay open until the 6th October, so if you’re in Tokyo, pop by. The highlight of the shop is the exclusive burgundy lace.

It was my 5th time in Japan, but I had never before been outside of Tokyo. This time I was determined to get out of the big bright city. So we took off to Kyoto for a weekend of visiting temples, sleeping in traditional ryokans and cycling around.

Here’s a little photo diary of the pop-up and what we got up to in Kyoto. You can also check out the previous post about our Tokyo Disco event.
