It is safe to say that the beautiful Nele Gown is one of the most versatile pieces from our newly launched AW16 collection. It comes in super soft modal jersey in three equally stunning versions – Navy, Burgundy & in Multicolour. Details really make all the difference for this product and turn it into so much more than your usual dressing gown. As with many other products from the line, Nele Gown can be worn as part of your everyday outfit – style it with jeans for a casual look or add jewellery to dress it up.
The most minimal out of the three, the navy Gown features a satin belt with signature golden clip fastening. It has practical satin trimmed pockets in the front and luxurious spiderweb lace trim on the hemline.
Nele Gown in deep rich burgundy comes with a satin belt and playful furry pockets. Decorated with French lace inserts on sleeves and on the hemline, making it truly a statement piece.
Limited edition and exclusive to our website the multicolour Nele charms with unexpected details. The navy-burgundy-pink gown features a satin belt with furry detail, which can be worn on the front or the back. It’s also decorated with French lace inserts on sleeves and on the hemline.
We’re excited to finally unveil our Autumn/Winter’16 campaign ‘Morning After‘.
The AW16 campaign follows the adventures of a birthday girl on the next day after the big party. She’s waking up at home, still feeling the good vibes from the previous night and reflecting on another passed year. Dressed in beautiful lingerie, she looks effortlessly cool and has that certain je-ne-sais-quoi about her. Having a proper burger cake, she doesn’t have a care in the world and decides that this one is really going to be her year!
Here´s a first view of the behind the scenes movie. All the campaign images can be seen HERE.

This long, yet joyful process of collection development is now over and the results will be launched on the 1st of September. However, we just couldn’t wait to show you what Kriss has come up with for this season.
So here is a teaser for you with a couple of products from the AW16 collection.
This season is full of little details like suspender clips that bring excitement to the design and really make the designs luxurious and unique. We took the suspender clip out of it’s expected place and played around with it until we found the right function for it in our design. Talking about the suspender clips, they’re not only a cool part of the design but also a practical addition – the AW16 signature golden suspender clips on bra straps give you the option to criss-cross straps on the back.
Looking back at the creative process Kriss said: “To get to this result, I did a lot of testing and failing. At some point I gave up – it just didn´t work for the bras, it wasn´t functional. But I didn´t give up. And then one day I had a eureka moment. If you use a metal ring and hook the suspender through it, it immediately becomes beautiful and functional!!”
To go with the bra, we are launching knickers made from super soft Modal Jersey to spice up your knicker drawer. And for the WOW effect we’ve added the double elastic which ties around the waist and is held in place by the suspender clip detail on the back.
Moving on from intimate pieces to something you can wear everywhere – home, work or out dining. We find the option to wear loungewear outside of your house exciting, so everyone can see the gorgeous pieces and how you’ve styled them. It’s quite exhilarating to bring intimacy outdoors, isn’t it?Show off your curves in the Kristel Modal Jersey suspender top. Style it with jeans or a skirt and leave the suspenders out to bring a bit of boudoir outdoors. The long sleeve and turtleneck design makes it perfect for those chilly autumn nights, while the cutout neckline keeps the look sexy. Don’t you just love it? Like the Top, you can also style our Nele Gowns with a pair of jeans and jewellery to feel amazing and be the center of attention wherever you go. Or just wear it at home and up your loungewear game to the next level.
As mentioned earlier we have loads of details in the AW16 collection and this gown is no different – it features a satin belt and furry pockets and is decorated with French lace inserts on sleeves and on the hemline. We are really excited to show you the full collection and all the colours we have chosen for this season.
When you do what you love and don’t give up, the results speak for themselves 😉
This week has been intense! We shot our brand new Spring/Summer 17 collection lookbook and right after that our Autumn/Winter 16 campaign. Let me remind you that this was just after last weekend’s Midsummer festivities. But with such a great team, anything is possible!
Our gorgeous model Maria showing us some funky dance moves.
Final touches by Kriss.
Next day we ventured out of the studio and built an amazing set for the AW16 campaign shoot.

Meet the talented stylist who we’ve worked with for our Disco campaign, AW16 lookbook and most recently a catwalk show. Oh, and did we mention that she has the most awesome voice as well? Quite a combination!
Read for yourself 😉
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I was actually just trying to figure out what to write in my Instagram bio. As I divide myself between music (singing in band called I Wear* Experiment), styling (Fashion Editor at MOOD magazine and freelance), photography and sometimes illustrations. So .. it seems that I am a creative-cat.
How did you end up working with Kriss?
I think it was (photographer) Sandra Palm, who invited me to do your Christmas-New Year-Valentines-Birthday campaign.
How would you describe your personal style?
Black, practical and comfortable, with some weird elements added. But I intend to go crazy when touring with my band.
What song do you have on repeat right now?
Iiris – Hope.
Top 3 places in the world.
My downtown apartment, my parents’ house under pine trees in a quiet suburb in Tallinn and .. I really love riding around in a car, to anywhere.
What’s your personal favorite piece from Kriss’s collections and why?
I really love colour, but not on myself that much. So I’ll have to pick the black Kristiina Suspender Top– because of the pompom!
Suspenders have been at the heart of the Kriss Soonik brand from the very beginning. But it has also become clear that we don´t use them like other lingerie brands would.
One of out signature pieces – the Kristel Suspender Top – is all about making the suspenders visible. It´s more about having the suspenders as a styling detail than a functional stocking holder. Wearing them casually on top of your jeans is anything but über sexy. It´s cool and unexpected.
And this was what took me on a journey to find other unexpected places for the suspender detail.
In our AW15 collection the Claire top with the suspender and button combo made the first test result public. But already then I knew there could be more to it. After all, this combination works well for a top but not for a bra. So I kept on testing.
Finally the eureka moment dawned on me – you can attach the suspender clip to the metal ring. And voila! Our SS16 Spiderweb Suspender Bra was born.
What´s great is that not only is it functional under clothes, you can also criss-cross the straps at the back, making the bra even more versatile.
Now that we´ve found this combination, we´re definitely not stopping there. Our AW16 collection is filled with gold suspender details for bras, bodies and slips. Here´s a little teaser what to look forward to 😉
We spent last weekend in Paris to showcase our AW16 collection to international lingerie buyers at Salon de la Lingerie. It was hard work and long days at the Porte de Versailles exhibition hall, but we still found time to have some fun and enjoy Paris as well.
We managed to do some shopping market research at the marvelous department stores, sample excellent French cuisine and catch a glimpse of the Eiffel tower. Definitely ate too many croissants along the way!
And by the way, Kriss Soonik was picked as one of the few brands to be included in The Selection Guide by the organizers. A great honour among the hundreds of brands showing.
Take a sneak peek at what was happening at our Autumn/Winter 2016 lookbook shoot last week. It was a super long day, but our awesome team on set managed to make everything come together for a great result.
Can’t wait to share the final pictures with you already!
