Our London pop-up “The Garden of Naughty Delights” is now open. Yay! It stays open until the 8th of Sept. So make sure you don’t miss out and head to Shoreditch now. We are showcasing our brand new AW17 collection alongside with the bestselling classics.
This week we opened a pop-up in one of the most prestigious department stores in Tokyo – Seibu – in the vibrant Shibuya area. Our Spring/Summer collection is showcased next to incredible fashion brands like Acne, MSGM, Sonia Rykiel and MM6 Maison Margiela. Giving it a more ready-to-wear look than ever before.
This pop-up is also special because we created an exclusive new item especially for Seibu – the Sai Lace Top. Made from our Classic black lace, this top is very much on trend. You can wear it on top of a T-shirt for a casual look or over a blouse in the office. It’s decorated with our tiny signature box bows, making it elegant yet cute.
If you’re in Tokyo, go check out the pop-up at Seibu Shibuya, Hall B, 3rd Floor until the 5th June.
It was my 8th time in Tokyo but this time was extra special – I was finally there during the peak cherry blossoming. And I must say nothing really compares to these fluffy white and pink petals. Apparently Sakura season is bigger than Christmas in Japan. And now I know what the hype is about!
The main reason for my visit to Tokyo this time was our pop-up at Omotesando Hills Rocket at the heart of Tokyo’s most prestigious shopping street Omotesando. This is the legendary street where Gucci, Chanel, Loewe et al. have their flagships.
We had a fabulous opening party. Was so great seeing all my Japanese friends (thank you for my beautiful flowers and gifts!) and also meeting so many new faces. The pop-up’s theme was “Caribbean Dreaming” after our SS17 campaign. Guests were posing with our campaign stars dolphin and flamingo while sipping Litchi Blue cocktails. We had loads of fun as you can see from the gallery below.
The first time I visited Tokyo, the La Foret department store became my favourite shopping destination. I guess the best word to describe it is “kawaii” (cute) but you can always find some cool designs there that you can also wear outside the craziness of Japan.
So who would have thought that 4 years later we´d be opening our very own store there? Below we´ve put together a gallery of the opening party. Thank you to everyone who came to support us!
The pop-up will be open until the 31st March on floor 2. Go check it out when in Tokyo!
This week we opened a pop-up shop in Estonia’s most prestigious department store Kaubamaja. This comes at a perfect time just before Valentines Day.
For the opening we gathered the press and fashion bloggers for a nice afternoon with a bit of bubbly and an introduction to the collection by Kriss herself.
Our gorgeous model Adeline was lounging away on the bed reading “The Cat Who Walked By Herself” while the guests took a closer look at our signature French Lace styles.
The pop-up at Kaubamaja will stay open until 16th February, go and have a look if you’re in Tallinn!
Last Friday we hosted a Kriss Soonik Disco at Isetan – the largest department store in Japan. The very gorgeous Sachiko and myself had the privilege to DJ the funkiest tunes from the golden age of disco and spice them up with some cool modern tunes.
Guests including our clients, stylists and bloggers had the chance to browse the new AW15 collection that had just been launched in the Acute Grrrl concept store on the 2nd floor.
Due to Isetan’s very strict rules (basically, no drinks or food allowed), we continued our party at the legendary New Sazae where we danced the night away and disco tunes played until the early hours.
The pop up store will stay open until the 6th October – if you’re in Tokyo, be sure to visit us at Isetan Shinjuku 3rd floor and check out the new collection with some items exclusive to Japan.
